Alliedassault - Help with Cell phone accessories

I have a LG VX6000:

I'm looking to buy a USB CABLE so I can transfer my pictures, ringtones, and wallpapers...that's basically all i want to do. Now, I've been searching on Ebay for some good deals. Some look like ripoffs. They come with a USB cable with a CD-R of installation drivers. It says, "With additional software (not included) you can: edit your pictures, use MS Outlook, etc".
What seems to be the real deal here? Which should I get?

NOTE: I can get the Drivers off of the internet for free. I don't NEED that CD with the drivers on it. Do you think that I can transfer pics, ringtones, and wallpapers with ONLY the USB cable? Or would I have to buy the software as well?
