Computer problems

My computer crashed last week, and I was lucky enough to get it back running. The first problems that I noticed was the appearance of my desktop. The start bar looked like Windows 98/ME, and the fonts changed. Then the system began shutting down on its own. This continued until I was no longer able to even get into Windows, because my system kept restarting on its own. I attempted F10 (system recovery), but I kept getting errors in that, making it shut down on its own again. Today I tried again, and it actually completed, although several Windows, System32, etc files were not able to be recovered. I continue to get errors on random programs, asking me if I want to report them. Firefox and other programs shut down on their own.

might be one of those recent viruses if you havent got any antivirus/or havent updated your virus definitions of late.

or then again you may be fucked so reinstall it all.

Indeed it does sound like a virus. If no antivirus program is available to you, format.

Yeah but I don't want to dick around with saving everything, and if I format I'll probably wind up fucking my computer up for good.

Also I get this page after my computer restarts after shutting down on its own:

I think there's something screwed in my registry, but I don't know where the problem would be.
