ROFL your logon is jesus

just format... you have too much random shit running.

SoLiDUS 07-15-2004 02:49 AM

hpztsb05.exe and ~e5d141.tmp look suspect, although the former might be
printer related only. The second picture has a few troubling files such as:

ctagent.dll
nem219.dll
~e5*.*
alchem, epuf and a2install, etc...

I suggest rebooting and rechecking your speed. Check again tomorrow and
(tomorrow + 1): if you have the same problem, go through a virus and spy
scan or alternately, fdisk / format / re-install everything. A fresh format can
be great for a machine once in a while :-)

40 fucking programs at once! Jesus. I have 20 at most and I can get mine down to 12.

Edit: Get avast and run it on Thorough Scan. Norton sucks.

Get a program called spyhunter. its awesome, finds stuff that ad-aware or spybot s&d wont find, plus more. its not free but it didnt take me very long to make it free. i could also send it to you through irc or somethin

Suprised your pc doesn't feel bogged down with all that shit whoring ram in the background. Not exactly relevant to the dload speed but you might wanna run msconfig and turn some of that shit off.

Ontopic: could be an isp problem. Was gonna say try resetting your modem but you've one of those weird card things, if theres anyway for it to obtain a new ip try that even.

anti 07-15-2004 11:37 AM

i tried hijack this, but i said fuck it and reformatted. download speed still hasnt changed. im hoping its isp problems, more than likely thats the case (suck my balls compusolve).

i always have a bunch of processes for some reason, they dont really blog the computer up but im going to try to keep them to a minimum this time.

TGB! 07-15-2004 03:24 PM

Unplug your modem from the computer and from the wall. Leave it off for about 1minute to 5minutes. Plug back in.

Also test the speed at DSLREPORTS.com to make sure there actually IS a slowdown and its not just your drug addled mind.

anti 07-15-2004 05:11 PM

looking at life through the same glass window everyday gets boring tgb.

the speeds i posted above were from dslreports.com on the megaline server. i did what u said, and took it a step further by removing my card completely; making sure it seemed fine. still slow as hell, i should call the isp and see whats up but im lazy and i dont feel like listening to some ignorant women beat around the bush for an hour until i get a straight answer.

9mm BeRetTa 07-15-2004 05:52 PM

wow, i actually have like 37 progs running just like you and ive been having tons of problems lately

btw whats the command to see what programs load on startup? it was like ...msft, cfgmsft, ... now everytime i turn on my computer pandora client (MoH:AA) opens on my computer and i deleted that shit a long time ago.

TonyMontana 07-15-2004 05:53 PM

msconfig
