moniter problem

this has been going on all summer and idkwtf i wrong with my comp

i have a flatscreen and a shitty GeForce video card

when my comp goes to sleep and i try to make it come out of sleep, it either takes 5-10 minutes or doesnt even come back at all.

sometimes it says im low on virtual memory

recently its been taking longer and longer, im getting really annoyed with it

has anyone had a similar problem/know where i can go to try and resolve this issue?

turn that sleep shit off will fix that problem unless you really feel like you need it.

for xp: control panel / power options /system standby.

if you need to sleep, doing a google for "sleep mode" +"doesnt come back". something along those lines. ive seen people posting about this problem a bunch of times. I dont use the sleep mode thing so ive never had it happen.

google "low on virtual memory" +"windows xp"

Turn up your virtual memory.

System > Advanced > Performance: Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory: Change > Custom Size.

If your HD is big enough set both values to 1000 or more. Then click Set. You might have to reboot after doing that.
