What lossy encoder do you use?
 
This has probably been done before but I need to do something while my porn's downloading.

Anyway, for what it's worth, I use 128kbps AAC for listening to tunes on my iPod. (Apple lossless for listening on my PC)

(Also, state your bitrate below if you can be arsed replying to this topic.)

it is, read reviews there are, better, cheaper ones available... IDK why the ipods popular honestly.

because they were one of the first mp3 big hd based products and are the reason for these 'better, cheaper ones ' being avaliable
