Stargate SG-1 Season 8, Stargate Atlantis
 
Well I just saw thw second episode in both, both shows are l337 as far as I can tell. Interestingly, SciFi showed an SG1 rerun featuring Dr. McKay as a glorified extra and a cynical asshole at constant odds with Carter. Then, after the new season eight episode, I learn that he is a main character, and a canadian, in SG: Atlantis, who ended up saving the day. Th episode I just saw will incite many hockey vs football aand America vs Canada things throughout the show.
