sending private messages????
 

I run a spearhead server and was wondering if there is a way to send a private message to Individual players.
would be handy for warning peaple or chatting with my admins...

nope

you can message just your team and everyone, but not Individual players.

actually, there is a way of messaging. but you have to have rcon, or know what client number the person you want to send a message to is. and, you have to minus 1 from the #. the command is - wisper ## MESSAGE.

for example, i am client #5 on the server and you want to PM me. you would have to type wisper 4 MESSAGE. if you dont get it, ill try to explain more.

Is it "wisper" or the correst spelling, "whisper"?

but hes not an admin on the server. so he cant get the rconunluss he has a password.

Last I remember SH listed the client # on the far left of the scores screen beside the persons name, so he wouldnt have to be an admin to see the #s .. And I dont believe it is is -1 from their # but rather +1 because the server has a slot zero.. To send a message to one person I know in AA you open console and type:

sayone (client#+1)
Enter

Then the area for the message comes up and you type the message to that person..
