Cs:source will begin preloading on steam on the 16th and will be activated on the 18th. One map de_dust since its just a beta test. Condition zero owners and cybercafe whores only.

It'll load through steam to your pc's then when its released you can just enter your creditcard number to play it.

knowing how great steam is, id prefer to own the cd

Meh i find it to be pretty reliable, it had a bit of a flaky start but its pretty dependable, for me at least.

I'd order it through steam but my creadit card is.... non-functioning.

the doesn't look to good to me, Farcry & Doom 3 looked alot better then that... (or is that just CS regular on HL2 source ?

now that you mention it his arm looks really flat

the wall/ground textures look like shit but the gun and corpse models are much better than doom3 and farcry....

i hope this has good gameplay, which doom3 and farcry didnt...
