Geocaching?
Has anyone ever done it before? http://www.geocaching.com
I have a feeling that most of you guys dont really even know what it is, so ill try to explain it... Someone makes a geocache with a buncha crap and pretty much useless stuff (except a friend of mine found a german ww2 medal in one), and then they go to geocaching.com and put the long and lat into the site, and someone else can find it via the long and lat (this is where a GPS unit comes in handy). and then once uve found it, you can take something out and put something in and usually you can sign a log book there if they have one. |
i heard about this through school, some teacher was taking a class to do it
sounds kinda homosexual, but to get out of schooll.... its worth it. |
its fun, there are geocaches all over the world. i guess its just kinda like a hobby.

I'd geocache a live grenade.
|
I'd find the most valuable geocache, dig it up, take out the fabled treasure and replace it with a pair of old gym shoes. Fair deal, I should say.

thats why most geocaches have stickers, and a travel bug? |
Small potatoes. Besides, it's usually some geek who buries them; so all I have to do is beat him down and take his shit.
