I know you don't endorse "cheats" here, but I sometimes use them when I play single player, just to goof around. So here it is, when I changed the "target" on my link to the game, with that "+ set dev..., + set the..., + set che..., + set ui_...", now when it opens up, I get the console with the following: "Localization error: 'MOHAA Console' does not have a localization entry". Can anyone tell me what exactly this means. The game works fine, but it is just annoying and I'd like to get rid of it. Also, if I take out the changes to the link and put it back like when the game was first installed, the "cheats" still work and the error message and the console are still there. And finally, are mods like blood considered cheats, esp in multiplayer? Thanks for the help in advance. wallbash:

1 No I don't know what that means. Reinstall to fix.

2 No a blood mod isn't a cheat.

You might not have put the cheat target thing in correctly.

I double checked, and it is in correctly. I noticed I have three "main" folders: "main", "mainta", "maintt". The "mainta" and "maintt" have localization folders but the "main" doesn't, is it supposed to? Does anyone else have a "localization" folder in the "main" or get the console opening up at start up with that error message?

console comes up at the beginning because you have +set ui_console 1 in the path that enables it.. I dont have a localization folder in my main and I dont get a localization error on mine when it starts up thought.. eek: May want to uninstall/reinstall or try removing the extensions you added in the path first, start MoHAA, open console, and see if it still contains an error..

Single player cheats are fine, it's the ones for multiplayer that will cause trouble

I found a site that says that localization thing is NOT a error after all, go figure. Oh well. rolleyes:
Are scope mods and leaning mods considered cheats in multi? Or, what type of usefull / cool mods can be used in multi without being accused of cheating. And what are the most popular mods used? Any reccomendations for the best blood mod and scope mod.

it varies from server to server.

some servers consider "laser dot" scopes, blood mods and lean binding as cheats, others only consider some of them cheats and then there are some that don't have a problem with them at all. best advice is to find a server you like to play on, get to know the people that run it and see what they consider cheats or not. my site has some blood/scope mods along with some i made you can DL, the link is in my sig.
