did the second one first and tried the first second eek: , ive had the pic of the woman for a while and thought id i see what it looked like. i personally like the kid one best.

tell me- how did you get the background and starburst texture?

then using the shape tool i put a starburst over a layer of color (red, brown, i think) then cut it out ... i did this a couple of time on different color layers in different positions, then blended them. i really have no idea how to use color the way ive been using it ... i usually just pic a color and layer it on top of white/ gray/ or a color out of the background, or source pic, then do it a few times until i get some colors i like eek:

i like it a lot, you've come a looooong way :)
