I hope that someone can help me because I'm desprite. My son deleted the MOHAA folder from my computer and I cannot reinstall the game. Everytime I try to reinstall it I get the "Modify, repair, remove screen" Any one of these I try the progress bar comes up for a minute, stays at 0% and then the "finished" screen comes up, and there is no game there. I try to remove the program through the "add remove" on control panel and I get the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Had the same prob...
[Involves the Windows registry. Microsoft nor do I claim resposibilty if you screw up your keys and blow up your OS] You gotta go in your registry and remove EVERY crucial registry key that has Medal of Honor associated with it. But actually the most important key in this situation is under the "uninstall" string of the registry...If you get rid of that key that is somewhere in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrent VersionUninstall <-do a 'find' for "medal" or "allied" or "EA GAMES", you will be able to reinstall the game and what-not. Good Luck |
Had this same problem today.
EA tech emailed this reply: After backing up registry, "Go to Start -> Run -> type in "regedit". There is a registry key that causes this and must be removed. It is found in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentV ersionUninstall{0DEA94ED-915A-4834-A87E-388D012C8E02} This whole key should be deleted and after uninstalling once more, the game should install normally." Worked for me http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif |
