cheap airsoft pistol
 

I have a little *cousin*, hes 11 years old, but hes pretty mature and i wanted to get a him a cheap airsoft gun and maybe a target or something like that for his birthday. I was just wondering if cheap one that are like $25-$40 are ok?
if it were me id spent alot mroe but hes just 11, so i dont wanna get him anything too serious, ive never bought a cheap one, but are the cheap spring pistols worth it, or should i jus wait and get him like a gas one for christmas? just wondering if they get jammed real easy or if they have any little problems that happen alot.

Gas is the shit. I have a Desert Eagle GBB (Gas BlowBack) They are pretty pricey too, and im positive an 11 year old cant load a clip with gas. A fucking blast for shooting as fast as you can pull the trigger.


Spring Pistols are ok. They are as cheap as $20, but you get what you pay for. They do sometimes break. I had a Spring Rifle that broke on day 2.

I would STRONGLY suggest against an airsoft gun for an 11 year old no matter how mature. A normal springer can do some real damage. From 20 feet they have no problem burying almost half way into sheet rock, from 2 feet they can give you a welt like you wouldnt believe. Plus I wouldnt even be so sure an 11 year old could pull the slide back to cock one. Though springers are much safer than AEGs, they get those little plastic balls moving damn fast, enough to do lots of damage.

FFS, just get him a chessboard or something intellectually stimulating.
