Found out yesterday that my 10 year old beagle has cancer. He has been sick for a bit and has a swollen mouth, but we found out that he has two tumors in his head and we might have to put him to sleep. I think Nycks wedding gave my dog cancer. Anyways, has anyone ever put their pet to sleep? Man this sux, we decided that if we put him to sleep we're going to cremate him and keep his ashes in a jar. We have another 9 year old beagle and theyre inseparable, so he might get sick afterwards from lonliness.

Had to put my 14 year old cat to sleep less than a year ago. It sucks. Especially if it's a pet you grew up with.

sorry to hear about that. I've had my dog for 5 years now and I'm not sure what I'd do if I heard that news.

Yep, had my last dog 15 years, she got cancer and had to be put to sleep, grew up with her so her being put to sleep was like losing a brother or sister, probably the worst day in my life when that happened. :(

i had a beagle of 7 yrs that also died of cancer ... it was in her stomach tho. one day she just wouldnt get up , her mouth had lost all color (white), etc. very sad shit.

My cat Elmo has been around since '93, doesnt look like he's gonna go soon, still has alotaa energy, but you never know. =\

my grand parents have a 23 year old cat. It is also a outdoor one too. omfg, its dieing of cancer guyz..

i was afraid of them too for quite a while but once you have one you love it changes.
