i just bought a splitter for my sound card - it's not a USB issue, i want to be able to listen to mp3's on my speakers and my headset at the same time..

when i want to game just shut the speakers off and put on the headset, when i want to listen to music, just set the headset down, turn the speakers on and jam out.....thus i bought this splitter

Also i use ventrilo daily, if it's on USB i would have to go to settings everytime i wanted to switch in between the two....

The Klipsh ProMedia 2.1. These sound great. The sub kicks ass, plus it's cheap.
