How make PlayerName for Spearhead with special signs
 

It is not really a mod, but...

How you make names with "special" signs (a small knife, cross etc.)?

Is see these -other- player's- names many times when playing, but do not know how to get them.

yeah i wouldn't mind knowing also. i've been playing SH for maybe a week now and went in some clan server (AGP or something) where there were 3 clan members in there with strange symbols in their names.

On British MOHAA forum (PuremohaaUK) someone replied to same question with "alt codes"

Googling alt codes gave this result:

on the scoreboard (tab) all you see is ???????

so thats what all them ? were from I c thoses on most servers I play on

Seems to depend on the symbol used.

Example:

SeÃŒe©â€*ione®


Is coorectly spelled when chatting or killing. In the score the â€* was replaced by ?.
The rest of the symbols were correct.

So not all and sometimes none of the chosen symbols (Alt codes) are wrongly displayed. Depends on which you use.

As far as I know it works for MOHAA too.

Tried it and it worked, but here als some symbols will be replaced by ? in the score.

When u kill or get killed or chat or whatever, the whole name is correctly spelled.

You can find a complete list of special characters by findind the Character Map in your system tools. �ã²ÿø looks like they work here too.

Best way i found to do it is do it in ascii then cut and paste it into your unknownsoldier.cfg for example mine is :

I don't think it works on MoH:AA .. I tried .. cause I could do it on Sum of All Fears
