After I download a mod to my computer, it finishes and then a message comes up sayin "This file is a file that quicktime does not understand" when I open it.

LOL.. sounds like somehow .zip files have gotten associated with quicktime.. :P

Find any old .zip file, hold down shift & right click the file. Then click on "open with" & choose Winzip from the menu it pops up. Make sure "always use this to open file" is checked. That should do it. Hopefully.. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/wink.gif
