Welp, I used the last of my wedding gift money (and then some) to buy a brand spankin' new HDTV for myself.

Here she is:

I got a helluva deal. It was $3999, but they gave it to me for $3600 with the stand, delivery and full set up included. The stand alone was retailing for $599.99! They'll hook everything up...DVD, satellite, home theater, assemble the stand, show me how to use it all...100% awesomeness! I can't WAIT!


It gets delivered on Saturday morning.

Bleeker Stereo in Ottawa.

I went to the high volume dealers in town (Future Shop, Best Buy), but I didn't get a great vibe from them. Sure, I probably coulda saved a few hundred bucks right now, but in the long run I'm better off going with a store like Bleeker. They service everything they sell on site.

I just had a much better experience with a smaller store.

Forget the TV, where did you meet your wife? I mean hell i can go to any store and buy a tv, but finding a woman who will let me, thats a hellava lot harder.
