I watched it up until David Divovovich left the series, series/season 7 I think. When it first came out it was fantastic, I remember watching the first ever series on BBC2 here in the UK and I was like ed:, but when it got to the point where FOX "SPOOKY" MULDER exited stage left, I was well and truly fed up with it. Now that you've turned me on with this X-Files talk, I might download the whole thing, or buy it - start to finish - on DVD. Edited for spelling |
i also stopped watching at the beginning of season 8 when the show was on the air. i was pretty unhappy to see him go too ... he and scully were perfect together. but, season 8 is pretty damn good if you give it a chance.
im really starting to like the new characters and the stories are still leet. |
Show wasn't the same after season 4...Season 5 seemed to be just a bunch of filler episodes to occupy the audience until the movie came out. I would have preferred more alien conspiracy episodes but after a while that storyline just seemed to become ridiculous. I have been watching them off and on again because I downloaded all 9 seasons a while ago but I lost interest at season 5. Going to start watching again soon because it's better then 90% of what's on TV nowadays, but knowing it doesn't get any better makes it hard to watch every single episode again.
EDIT-> Forgot to mention that the final episode is kind of a letdown considering all of the build up over the years about the "truth". A positive for season nine was seeing Mulder and Dogget work together for a bit. |
never really watched it faithfully. The face that would wave and look like a huge floating head screaming in the opening credits of the show used to scare me...
somebody hold me |
