Suse Linux

... i have it running on my second computer. dual boot with win xp pro but ive yet to boot windows.

after some time fucking with it i pretty much have it working almost identically to the win xp setup i had running on it and it is by far the easiest distribution ive used.

... and after all the firefox bashing ive done ive come to like it since ive had no other choice but to use it.

i see myself sticking with suse on this box.

maybe for a primary os since you cant really game on it but its pretty damn leet for other things like running a web server for testing html locally.

other than gaming it functions almost exactly ( but better ) than windows.

Ya its good for servers, games and shit, probably better off with a fucking mac. biggrin:

I've used Redhat and Suse in the past, both made me horny.

ive also used redhat a long time ago ( 28.8 modem days ) and it was hard as all shit to use.

this suse release is about as close as one could get to windows.

I got the 9.1 Pro version free from Novell a few months back (they were giving them away for some reason), I might fish it out and install it on my old 1GHz Athlon box that's sitting there doing nothing.

i hate learning things over again. Plus, i'd have no need for linux since I do the basic stuff on my PC.

I'm glad you found something that works for you.
