I've been waiting for this bitch to get kicked out for a long time. Se can have her own views, but a certain amount of respect is deserved by all, no matter if you agree with policies or not of certain people. Calling names doesn't help anything. I mean just look at her, she has to be a bitch.

Short Hand 11-18-2004 05:18 PM

meh.

Pyro 11-18-2004 05:19 PM

good, i still find her to be better than an ultra-conservative, but she is a bitch, but shes a girl so she can't help it.

at least she isn't preaching religion.

She's referred to the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq as the "coalition of idiots." And on Wednesday she was videotaped as she stomped on a doll of President Bush for the television program, This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

the whole situation makes me laugh... hello?... freedom of speech?....

ninty 11-18-2004 08:14 PM

I don't have a problem with freedom of speech. However, do you not think there is a line that can be crossed? She is not in the US government. What happens in teh US has nothing to do with her. Therefore, no matter who is president, does she not have an obligation to try to work with those people to the best of her ability? I think so. Calling people idiots and the NUMEROUS things she has said doesn't help anything whatsoever. When you work for the Federal government, a certain amount of respect and dignity must be shown to get anywhere. This is a long time coming, and i'm glad she finally got sacked. We don't need people like that. Thats just my oppinion.

first off, what happens in the US does have alot to do with her, as we live so close together...

Yes, I do believe there is a line, and i do believe she crossed it when she stomped on a doll of Bush... I dont agre with that action... She can be as anti-bush in statements as she wants, as a member of the Liberal party it should be her job to be critical of conservative actions...

You are right that her actions are disrespectful and warrent punishment, but you say "We don't need people like that", but who is "we", because she is still an MP, just not a Liberal Mp anymore, so we're still stuck with her...

bottom line, I agree with her firing over the things she said about her fellow Liberals, she said they "can go to hell", thats just dumb, you can't get away with that at any job...
