Help out a searcher
 

My friends and I are avid flight simmers. We are in a squad and spend allot of time at it but, were getting a bit bored and are looking to get into a WW2 1st person shooter as a side game. The question is which game? Were all history buffs so we want a little more than just mindless shooting but we also want something thats not too complicated so we can learn fast(as were not going to play it full time...until we get addicted). The MOH:Pacific game was our initial choice but the reviews kind of turned us away. Our second choice was "Brothers in Arms" but we don't want to wait until Feb and we assume you need a monster machine to run it. So is it "Call of Duty"?
Criteria:
1) Must be WW2
2) Must be great for multiplayer and have a strong online base of players.
3) Fun and not frustrating.
4) Tactical play, not just shoot and run.

since no one has played bia, there is no way of knowin if its any good

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

I think you'll like the objective matches. Actual strategey can be involved. But usually only in match play or in objective.

I'd have to go with CoD.

go with MOH:AA or SH

Call of Duty: United Offensive lets you be any of those.

Plus, it's more tactical than any other of the games listed so far.

I would say start off with Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, but, looking into MP, there's hardly a pure server in there, so it could be hard to get used to.

But in my opinion, go with the COD expansion United Offensive

Any Medal of Honor game is just mindless shooting. Best shot is in the Call of Duty series.
