Ok, Today was "Black Friday" here in the states, day after every Thanksgiving is the hottest deals, and I got some nice shit...
Call of Duty was 9.99 in EB games from 7-12 noon! ed:
I got 512 ram for 45 bux no rebate rock:
I got a portable dvd player Polaroid for 99.99 biggrin:

I watch on TV people lining up at 6am a few kms down the road from the store, and then when the doors open people getting trampled and I just can't help myself bu to laugh. Only in America.

I guess Black Friday in the US is the Boxing Day we have here in Canada, the day after christmas.

its called black friday cause its the next day after thanksgiving (friday). i think black is referred to the price cuts retailers give to customers.

It's called "Black Friday" because most retailers are in the red as far as yearly sales go. Hopefully on the Friday following Thanksgiving, the retailers will go from being in the "Red" to being on the upside which is in the"Black".....hence the name "Black Friday".
