i make around 800-900$ in the summers. summer jobs kick ass especially when i work construction (with my dad and brother)..its not about hours its about how much work you do :)

And, yeah Nyck, you should be making way more than 9/hour. I make 100 bucks a day with the army, and 12 an hour at my other job. And thats an entry level position.
