that we may see a change in Spielberg? Could he be reverting back to his roots and make a kickass sci-fi adventure movie and yet incorporate interesting characters and whitty dialogue?

Yes it's a teaser trailer, but can you imagine the possibilties of this film? I mean if Spielberg does this right we may have a WWII style global battle with the world uniting against alien invaders. Otherwise we'll just get a multi-layered story about survivors trying to stop the alien invasion by discovering the ultimate weapon...germs! I prefer the former

I used to have the War of the worlds cassette (back in the day of tape players). Anything directed by speilberg has pottential.
