IE Problem

Ok, for a long while I have been having a problem with Internet Explorer. Sometimes, not all the time but most of the time, when I click on a link that brings up a new window (EX: a link from a post to a page), the window I clicked it on will freeze and the link won't pop up. It is really really annoying, as I have to ctrl+alt+del to close it. Anyone know of this and a possible fix? Please don't say use mozilla or some other browser. I'm sticking with IE for now.

I'm well aware you said not to, hell I even quoted it, but switching would probably have prevented this problem in the first place.

As for fixing it I have no clue.

try these:

in run type:

regsver32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 softpub.dll
also try disabling sp2 pop up blocker and check firewall (norton is a bitch 4 this)

it could be spyware - get and run adaware and spybot search and destroy.

But you best getting Firefox
