PsP-Reality check

Hard not to agree with most of this even though its coming from a nintendo site. |
I've never been a big fan of Sony. Towards the end of my Playstation's life, I had to balance the thing on it's side to get it to read the disks. oOo:

Yup, sony and thir ddd''s (dodgy disc drives). What are the odds of 2 generations of sony console, one being cd based and one being dvd based all having a flawed disc drive? Nintendo have had one disc system and its drive works well, even xbox has had more hard drive failures than dvd drive failures(anyone with a clue knows hard disc failures are common in pc's as well). But for sony it boils down to optical media drive failures every time. Anyone willing to bet ps3 shares the same by design "flaw"? |
You know what I think is funny. . .that Nintendo - who got blasted for releasing the GBA Advance WITHOUT backlight and certain buttons. . .released the DS. . .wait for it - WITHOUT BACKLIGHT.
Get ready for DS SP folks. Nintendo needs to clean up the shit in its own yard before it launches conspiracy theories at Sony. They are BOTH playing the "opps we forgot this feature" game. |

I stand corrected.
I still have zero reason to get a DS. The N64 was fun and all. . .but I dont particularly have an interest in porting it with myself - and I'm not a big Pokemon fan so. . . |

Ive only had one problem with my ps and ps2. Which im not sure is even a problem with the ps2 or my tv but sometimes the sound is fucked up and it dips very low and then goes back to normal and then it will dip low every minute or so. But thats the only problem ive ever had.
|
have you tried the ds tho tgb?
i tried it in ebx while xmas shopping and its a very cool and original concept would i wanna buy it? probably not, but only cuz im a poor college student who cant even afford to buy anything better than natty ice light either way, i think nintendo is on the same path as sega, these final prodcuts are its death throes |

tv stereo or mono? |
the psp will make sony money and probaly sell well, better than the ds sp, but sales dont mean that it is good. example being the market leader ps2 sleeping:
true about the designing products to break by sony. or that they just make them shite. biggrin: |
Wow, you guys think I whine. Gerard bitches about a system he will never buy. Trying to find anything to make Sony seem bad. They revolutionized console gaming and finally gave nintendo a competitor after sega crashed and burned and made developers have to go all out to make sure each system had the best game spossible.

And if you had actually read that article you would see that even capcom say the ps series seems to be made to break. |
