Need Help with english

Is anybody here familiar with "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" or other works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez? I have aan essay to do in IBS1 English A1. If anybody here has done the IB diploma program (I love the canadians of this thread, by the way biggrin: ) I also have a wordlit essay to write, comparing "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, "Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse, and "The Outsider" by Camus. I tried Sparknotes, Bookrags, and Cliffs Notes, none really helped.

You could try reading the required works and writting your own essays.

Hrm...that's a damn good question.

Actually, I did one Anthropology/Sociology course called "War & Aggression" that I didn't miss any classes. Too damn interesting.

Google "Elliott Leyton". He was my prof.

it's the same book, "The Stranger", or "The Outsider" are both used, depending on the translation from the original french... The original title in french is "L'Etranger", which is literally "The Stranger"... so both are correct, it just depends on the version you are reading...

The english prefer "Th Outsider", most americans prefer the stranger. I think the former is better. we studied the cure's song in class as well

Im alive,
Im dead,
Im the stranger,
KILLING AN ARAB!

thats cool... i was a cure fan in the mid-late 80s, and had heard that song a zillion times without putting much thought into it... i never got to read that book in school, i just read it on my own, and during that scene, I thought "damn, this seems familiar"... then I put it together...
