What would you pack around in terms of killing them?

Personally, I'd find an old medievel mase, it'll pretty much cave in the heads of many zombies with a few swipes. I like guns, but they're eventually right out of ammunition, and really the only way to kill a zombie is if you turn their heads into mush; so good aim would be a must. It'd be cool to have a sawn-off shotgun just in case though.

or just a base ball bat, but if they come in swarms iam pretty much done for cuz i'll get tired of swingin

id get a shotgun... or uhh... would these zombie's be the gay fast runing or the slow moving 1ns... If they were the fast 1ns id get my car... if they were slow yeah id go with the bat and shotgun

Keep to the rooftops for sure. Something that could do a lot of damage would be dandy...gasoline bomb or some shit.

I prefer the classic sword. Good reach, pretty much whatever you hit it with will either die, or lose part of it anatomy.

Naturally that is fall back after running out of other home made ordinance, and rifle rounds. A good one way choke point with zombie proof exits is a must. IE a ladder to a second floor or such.
