hello lover,
you probably had to create an account with wherever you bought the domain. Login to the account and look for something like: nameservers, domain name servers, dns records etc. You should be taken to page that will let you change the domains NS records. The NS records tell "the internet" where the domain is hosted. A minimum of 2 NS records are required. These are provided by your host and are probably something like: ns1.yourhost.com, ns2.yourhost.com or dns1.yourhost.com, dns2.yourhost.com. Once you update these 2 NS records with your hosts information, it will take about 48 hours for the changes to take effect. If you're hosting yourself, the situation is obviously different; you'll need to set up DNS servers and add a bunch of DNS records to the server. However, if you have a professional host, you should be all set. cool: |
