This was rumored to happen after it waw discovered a date was printed in the credits if you beat the game on legendary. This obviously doesn't allign with the date, which was in February I believe, but it seems that all the complaining of the demo level being left out and other whining from the fans has had an effect.

The game was planned to be much bigger, but Bungie was forced to cut a lot of ideas or scrap half-finished levels because the project just became to big to handle. This is a good idea, if not just for the money aspect for Bungie but if they do include extra content, higer resolution and HDD I'll buy it. I want to test it out on my new HDTV.

...My friend's brother, who is 13 or so. Got more than $450 in X-box and games and equipment for X-mas. This is kid is spoiled when it comes to gaming, he has nearly every single console type except PS1 & PS2. It's somewhat worth it though, because this kid, Brandon, is extremely good at any of the games, including Halo 2 (multiplayer), he doesn't even really try at all and he is bashing people left and right. oOo:

it sounds like a good idea. i will buy with out a doubt in my mind. but i hope it doesnt get boring fast like halo 2 did
