Jan 30th in Iraq. Hell on Earth or Peace?(aka 10 ppl killed)

what do you guys think will happen on the day of the election? Im not sure what these insurgents have in store for the election and it's sercurity but i bet ya, it's gonna be something BIG!.

Another question that i'm just curious to know from you all: would you die for your country? Like the muslims in Iraq do( and all across the world for that matter)? If you were the last person called upon to save alot of lives, and they needed you for whatever reason, would you do it?

Crap deleted.

Stay on topic, asshats.

Quze 01-04-2005 08:49 AM

I don't think it will be anything "BIG" Just more car bombs, assasinations of political people, you know, the usual.

Die for my country? I'd make someone else die for theirs :)

You don't even die for your country per say.

Like Iraq was a fucking epidemic for America...you die to grant the wishes of your leader.

Unless it is like World War or something, it is never for your country.

It's going to be really bloody this year.

So any Kuwaitis putting up a ressistance against the Iraqi invasion in 1990 weren't risking their lives for their country?

It it was ww2 id be the first person in the recruiting office.

But at the moment I only joined the navy kus of the uniform, I saw those flaired pants & I knew just had to have them. So I signed the line sayin I would be the last line of defence for my country & be the guy outside buck palace gates with a cup of tea in one hand & sa80 in the other.

If one must go, one must go with style!
