Okay all, I have set up a zip file with some stuff in it that might help some of the other VooDoo 4/5 owners out there that is having a little trouble getting decent graphics, gameplay, selection screens, and intro movie.
you can download it here http://home.attbi.com/~rudfan28/VooDoo_Fix.zip Hope this helps, I am running the 4.12 voodoo drivers spook |
Thats all good and such, but i tried to download the file, and all it contained is a readme... Shouldnt there be some files with the instructions?

Half way there, the movies work but still no menues. Never mind, oh by the way i'm using the multiplayer demo not the full version will that make the difference

Those files are the wickedGL files just without using the installer.
As far as getting grey screens using the MP demo, I got the same thing but the actual game does not do that. The demo might not contain all of the same files that the GL is using. If you have a VD4/5000 you have a program called 3DFX tools, there is an option for OpenGL and D3D, make sure OpenGL is selected. spook [This message has been edited by spookymufu (edited February 06, 2002).] [This message has been edited by spookymufu (edited February 06, 2002).] |
You could fix the menu glitches, get better in-game graphics and better FPS by downloading WickedGL...

I followed the instructions, but i still get only a grey screen when I try to start the trainings-mission (menus and videos work).
What is meant with OpenGL-Mode in 3dfx-Tools? |
