Recommend me a Digital Camera

well, my next big buy will be in a couple of weeks and I will most likely be getting a digital camera. Ive always wanted to get one but I keep putting it off and I just stick with my cheap web cam for taking pics, but I want a good one, but not too expensive.

Im willing to spend under $300 for one, so recommend me the best one in that price range.

I'll most likely get it from futureshop, so browse this link.

oh, and try and find me one with a battery packtype thing , I dont feel like going out and buying AAA batteries all the time.

thanks

What kind of photography(sp?) are you going to use it for? Just regular stuff, or more advanced? Closeup, scenery, staged, etc..?

There you go. Wicked camera for a really nice price, considering what you get. You can use it in rainy, foggy, sandy, moisty, almost any weather, thanks to the aluminium casing. QuickTime movie feature, and 3.2mpix. resolution. Ive tried it myself when I was working in a multimedia store, and its really nice. If memory serves me right, you get two batterypacks with it, but the battery is good for roughly 200 pics or so before it needs reloading.

If you want higher resolution, you should go for this one:

They go by the name mju, not stylus, here in Sweden btw.

Good luck, and tell us what you eventually buy.

I havent gotten around to try that one yet, but if they are remotely as wellmade and nice as the regular stylus one's, then Yes, definately. That one, btw, goes under the name Mju Mini Digital in Europe. biggrin:
