There was something similar years ago for laundry. Basically it was a plastic ball full of colored water, and claimed that it washed 1000's of loads of laundry. If im not mistaken they were sued off there ass by consumer groups.

What part of North Texas you in? I am north of dallas, and gas is around $1,85 per gallon. Wal-Mart has it for 1.76$ though.
