I've installed and configured PIX 501 and 506... other than that I don't know much Cisco. I certainly don't know Cisco IOS either. Dan will be in here soon spouting off about catalyst switches. annoy:

Have my CCNA and studied the CCNP material as well, haven't gone any further yet but plan to in the future. I aced all of the classes and the test but for some reason most people have problems with the material as you get into the 3rd and 4th semesters. I think it's the common thinking of College kids that you can pass IT classes without any studying as long as you know what a computer is. Then their lazy asses fail Cisco and they end up switching majors or dropping out.
BTW, make sure you study the whole chapter as well as the next chapter for your quizzes because they throw in all sorts of shit that you will not be ready for. Cisco is constantly updating its course material and it is getting harder and harder to pass the tests. And just think, all the hard work you put into the CCNA cert exam will mean jack to an employer, they only see it as another piece of paper. |

... which is why I'm going CO-OP after this semester. I'll have an accumulated
total of 2.5 / 3 years experience in the field, on top of education and "papers". |
