Act of War demo
Have any of you guys played the demo of Act of War yet? Quite promising, great gameplay and versatility. Graphics are awesome. Having loved Red Alert style strategy games this is a godsend. Here's a link for the demo...
http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/act-of-war/?ui=gamefinder It is a large one though... some 700 mb but it downloads quite fast and most definitively worth it. |
This sounds like a twap!
I've been sublimnially messaged. |
Speaking of Red Alert, they're making a sequel right now, with an update of C&C General's gfx engine.
Red alert 1 and 2 are 2 of my fave games, played them to death when i were a young'un..... Anyone else played this Act of War? I jus played star wars commando and it seemed the usual linear fps...the weapons felt like water guns, no bite to them at all, very weak but it ran smooth as a peach Games I'm most looking forward to buying and playing are: Black and White 2 S.T.A.L.K.E.R Battlefield 2 I prefer games where you can go and do your own thing or have the option of working with others, in the same game. |
i cant play red alert or tiberan sun on my xp pc :(
anyone know of anything that allows you to play them on xp? |
dual boot my friend. dual boot. (considering that you still have a windows 9x OS disc laying around)

Win98 takes up less than half of a CD-R at work.

I'm still playing Red Alert 2, and on my XP machine. Plays just fine. The thing that sucks about it is that after some time the enemies just stop trying. Also, in scrimish mode all you need is 5-6 prism tanks with the powerups and they'll wipe everyone out.
@Airborne Butters I regret that a simple post like that had such a devastating effect on your little monkey brain. |
lol monkey brain! take that you lemon head rock:
