i was just doing a search on TMT and saw they had a prefabs thread much like the GF1 pimpin' thread.

wouldn't it be benificial to have a thread where you could post images and downloads of everyone's prefabs and/or models ? may cut down on the requests made if you could search for a specific prefab/model.

or could there be a seperate section in the file submital area just for mohaa models (non player skin) and prefabs ?

you submit it under mohaa/models or mohaa/prefabs and then what type (ie. structure, misc, vehicle, ground....)

being it's my idea, i think it's a great one.

I rather like that idea...I think it would cut down on alot of threads and I think that its a great way to share and show your talents ;) Nice man.

it should just be something where you upload the file (offiste, the way TMT did it) and have a SMALL image of it (some of the images in the pimpin' thread are annoyingly too large )

hell, if i thought it would get enough traffic, i'd set up a MB just for this myself.

I only un-stickied it because noone posted in it for over 1 month....

If people seem interested, it will get re-stickied. Before we go to re-stickying it, I recommend someone finds or makes a file upload that supports .rar or .zips so people can upload their stuff.

i think it would be a good i idea to have a DL section so you host your models, then moders can DL them and use them. but you would heve to bring it up with BS.

i think TMT told members to use filevillage.com (?) for uploading the prefabs and models; i'll look into that today.

try this one for files; each person could upload thier model/prefab in zip format here [url=http://files.villagephotos.com:48548]FilesVillage.com[/url:48548] and/or upload a screenie there or at another photo hosting site and then post it in the model/prefab thread. groundforce1 woudn't have to host anything. suggest the first post in the models/prefab be a small tut on how to get a model/prefab into radiant so the thread won't be filled with requests on how to get them in.
