Help In COD Game Of The Year Edition
 

Hi, a friend of mine bought COD the Game of the year edition and it works great in single player and good in the multiplayer also, there is just 1 problem, his entire computer locks up when he is playing Multiplayer and he and myself have no idea what could be causing it. We disabled the anti virus and the windows firewall. Any help in this situation will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

sometimes my computer randomly freezes in mp

not sure why, maybe clear up some memory, more mem i have the less it freezes up

are u using ATI? what drivers are you useing? I beleive 4.9 drivers will lock up ur system during MP on that game. Update drivers if you havnt

i use an nvidia, its prob with older computers.....i hate my comp

he has a brand new Dell Inspiron 9200 with Radeon 9700 Graphics card
Windows XP operating system, 512MB shared 60GB Harddrive

Its a laptop on steroids bottom line, and it plays the game great in single player but whenever he logs online to play he maybe plays 5-10 minutes before it just freezes up his entire computer. Its non responsive he has to take the battery out in order for it to stop locking up. Any help in this will be appreciated
