Knowing sony when it does launch it'll have the following features.

1. Blu-ray dvd rom, guaranteed to stop reading discs inside of a year.

2. 2 controller ports, so you people wanting 4 player multi in games will have the convenience of shelling out $40 on a multitap.

3. Same controller oOo:

4. Backwards compatability, so ps2\ps1 owners can play all 10 good games for those 2 systems on this new system.

oOo:

when i bought mine, it was dead within the 1st 15 min i hooked it up in, it ate my vice city disc, left a huge lazer burn in the cd and wouldnt eject or play a game, took it back, they forced the cdrom drive open and gave me a new one

only biggest thing thing that ever happened was my game freezing, but that was after a long period of playing.

Never had a problem with my PS2. My stepsister has a gamecube and the first day she opened it up the controllers get fucked up. That says a lot.

I've had 3 Playstation 2's and Im about to get a 4th for these reasons.

1st- Screen went intoa medley of rainbow colors when playing SSX a day after I got it.

2nd- Just Died after 6 months of use.

3rd- Makes noises when playing discs(I mean real hardcore ERRRRRRR's) and freezes about 10 minutes into playing.

Sony cuss:
