I just bought a Geforce3 ti500, liked it but then sold it to get a radoen 8500 and I saved $100. However I had heard about the GeForce4 series coming out soon, but had no idea it would be this soon! Then again I would only want the ti4600, but not for $399!

Well....you gotta be more on the ball. I listen to the tech papers and they warn about the releases...I was going to buy something. But, I found out that this is getting released and then I waited....400 is allot sure. But, comparing the price diffrence and the performance differance you will see it is not that much more.

Go over to Micro center on Edinger and the 55 and check them out, they might have a sale on it a month after it is released.
