Hi, i'm having trouble trying to get Allied Assault to run at all.
I've installed the game several times. I just downloaded the newest drivers for my vid card and sound card too... I'm running a Mobile pentium 3 at 1 ghz, 256 rame, and an 8mb Mobily Radeon. I know i know, it doesn't meet the min req's, but it runs other games (RTCW, Max payne, ghost recon, etc) smoothly... i don't see what the problem is. After installing, when i try to start a new game, the music and pointer freeze right after i click the difficulty. BTW, i have DirectX 8 and stuff. Does anyone know what the problem is? |
8mb Radeon...
Theres your problem,Get an Asus card and you'll be right. |
Asus video card??? Gaaa. . . If you want power for value, you can't go wrong with Visiontek's cards or even a Geforce 2/ GF2 MX.

Hmmm... notice how it's a MOBILITY radeon and how i have a pentium 3 MOBILE chip?
Yep it's a laptop. i don't see why it won't run... i have rtcw, max payne, aliens vs predator 2 all running at least 800x600 and high detail. Just cause it's 8mb maybe? and i can't upgrade vid cards in a laptop |
