Brother in arms videos released

http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=180

Id reccomend "intro" I just watched it and its like an episode of BOB. I must say though, little excesive on the swearing. Not that I was offended just I don't think their would have been as much swearing as in the video back in WWII. This is the first game im actully itching to play. BTW the guy playing can't shoot worth a shit.

Ever since its release ive been hearing more bad things about it, the "ai" is meant to only be able to do anything in a certain range and will stick to a specific area. Also if a teammate dies during a mission he's meant to reappear in the next mission. annoy:

Moving to proper forum..

Looks mediocre to me, nothing to get all too excited over.

Looks pretty good to me, pc version due on the 17th, reserving judgement till then biggrin:

Check out the sniping video, death animations look pretty nice as well.

I'm waiting for a demo.

edit: intro looked pretty cool though

Keep in mind that they ARE sticking to the facts of a TRUE story. And in that case you can't have people dying on days they didn't unless you alter the story. But in the game, they are wiped off as being wounded and reappear in the next mission. How else could you do it?

No clue but thats the limitation of going with a true story and then hyping a game being realistic, you either rewrite the story to a degree or have your squads being bulletproof.

Yeah they reappear. I've already beaten the game. It wasn't short I just played it all day. I love this game. Another thing is if your team hadn't reappeared the game would be impossible. Also, I thought the AI was awesome. They could cover themselves and all you really had to do was give them a general area and they wouldn't be retards and try to take cover in a parking lot. I thought this game totally ruled. My first thoughts of the Live before I played were that it would be weak. But I love it. I thought the Mp was cool accept for the 4 person per room part. About the people respawning, if you'd like. You beat the game on difficult and unlock the "Authentic" game type, where you get one life, as for all your squad. Really hard but if you beat it you unlock good stuff.

I didn't like how late it came in. The plot was diluted and overused. I'd rather play as a nazi being pushed back to Berlin with a bad ending, or at just not an airborne. That got old fast. I'd rather see myself in a tank for an entire game or fighting with a huge division. Also another bad part was a glitch where sometimes if you fired the thompson, the sound would stick and keep playing a thompson firing and you'd have to restart the checkpoint. The gameplay owns all other wwii fps's I've played. I love the realism involved (I'd take that over something like CoD or Mohaa.) Another fault was that there was no medics at all in the entire game. Also the load time was a bitch. Anyways I would definately buy it. The gameplay, graphics, history lesson, and the historical accuracy totally outweigh the minor faults. I give it a 9.

Yes, my opinion is of the highest respect.

Im pretty fed up waiting on a game coming from the german perspective, bored playing as americans brits and russians, is is so hard to put together a game based on the point of view of a wehrmacht soldier? I can understand why they wouldn't use SS but i don't see any problem in it being a regular german soldier. Seems to be ok to kill them, why not the other way around.

I think a game like that would sell awesome, so long as a good maker develops it like not EA.
