Can someone out there post a reply saying all the medals in the game and how to get them?
So far I've only gotten three, The Good Conduct Medal- For taking out those king tigers with explosives on the Manor mission The Distinguished Service Medal- IN Snipertown I managed to make it to the end for not loosing one of the tank crew The American Campaign Medal- For the Omaha Beach map. I did get another medal for doing something while driving around in the King Tiger but I don't know what I did to get it and I accidentally loaded it so now no matter what I try I can't seem to get it again. |

I have earned 9 medals so far. Eight go in the obvious spots in the display case, and the ninth, the Distinguished Service Cross, goes in the Middle of the eight slots.
The Medal of Honor is not awarded for simply finishing the game and is not displayed in the eight spots. The Medal of Honor is displayed with ribbon, draped over the full display case. Finishing all missions earns a medal: Easy = Bronze Star Medium = Silver Star Hard = Distinguished Service Cross Each Mission has a Medal that can be won. M1 = Legion of merit = Rescue 2 POWs M2 = Norwegian War Cross = Steal Documents on Sub M3 = American Campaign Medal = Survive Omaha Beach M4 = Good Conduct Medal = Kill 2 Tiger Tanks M5 = Distinguished Service Medal = No Tank Crew losses M6 = Army Commendation Medal = Fewer than 5 Ranger losses Re-Earning: This only works if you earned the medal in the first place. You Must Complete The Mission to see the medals in your display case. Quit the game, then start it back up. Load the last saved game from a completed mission that you think you earned a medal in. ( Best to pick right before you finish the mission. ) When you either finish the mission again, or die, the very first stats screen should say "Medal Awarded." If you see that message, but you do not see the appropiate medal for that level, you have to re-complete that mission from that saved game. If it does not say Medal Awarded, you can try a different saved game, and then re-complete the mission from that point. Medals you cannot earn: Purple Heart Europe Africa Middle-East Campaign Soldiers Medal AtomicJew aka Tretch Axebiter |
I've got 2 to go, the Silver Star (mission 6 to go) and the Distinguished Service Cross. I'm going to be tearing my hair out playing on hard, then again I always play better when the difficulty level raises the bar a bit.

I've yet to play the game on "easy". Will do it right after I beat it on hard. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/wink.gif Will take some time for me. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/frown.gif [This message has been edited by Dodd (edited February 08, 2002).] |
