Anbody else play it?

I just did a private league draft Ive been in for the last 5 years..pretty indepth

This is the team I came away with..overall Im pretty happy with it.

p.s. I stopped doing baseball because I forgot to update the lineup often so I quit. I do basketball though and update regularly. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th are the positions I am in. All 4 different leagues of course.

Smaller roster in my league, i've been playing with these guys for the past 2 years, this will be 3. I have a decent team, I'm not overly excited, but I think I have a good chance of staying near the top.

im in a 16 team private yahoo league. 100 dollar buy in. winner takes a grand. rock:

next year we want to do 28 teams, as many as the real mlb. then each team will only have like 1 or 2 superstars. instead of having a league full of all star teams. gets kinda gay when everyone has an uber team.

rofl thats an auto pick team? jesus christ its basically last years all star lineup. this is what im talking about....whats the fun in a league like this? all superstars, hardly any need to do any fantasy managing. eek:

well, that depends if you are in a league full of b00ns. i play with a bunch of baseball fans, guys who are active and know the game. its alot more fun to manage against a group of guys who know the game and arent just in it to draft and then leave. the breakdown of the money is this

first place 1000 dollars
second place 100 dollars
winner of the playoffs 500 dollars

^ we all agreed that most of the money should go to the guy who wins the league. last yr all the money went to the winner of the playoffs, and of course i lost in the championship and got nothing lol. i ran away with the regular season title. we play head to head, not rotesserie. head to head is awesome.

oh and to the ppl who just post baseball sucks...god im sorry for you. i know how you feel, baseball had that awful strike in 94, the year the whitesox were gonna win it all. we were up by like 20 games in the race, and then the season got cancelled. some say baseball never fully recovered from it. i doubt seriously if hockey will ever recover. just not a big enough fan base.

btw im over the whole hockey sucks baseball sucks thing, im getting laid again so i could really give a fuck shit about arguing on the interweb. the_finger:
