You know, this is the best game ever made for sure, just like some people thought of the original Half-Life when it cam out. Look at Half-Life now. over 50 mods, and about 50 people that still play the actual game. Now everyone plays Counter-Strike or the game for people with computers like mine that can't run MOHAA, Day of Defeat. I'm worried that MOH will suffer the same, terrible demise as Half-Life. Well, just thought i'd say that. post some replies, tell me what you think.
Peace out, Saint |
yea man, like he said, there will always be a better game. Take a look at some of the upcoming titles, Doom 3, Quake 4, Duke Forever, etc. These games are bound to overcome.

BoondockSaint, are you nuts? Counterstrike is the most widely played online shooter *right now*. I still have no problem at all finding scores of Team Fortress Classic servers to play on, all full of players. Day of Defeat games are always full. And straight up Half-Life deathmatch is still fine, though with all the great mods there is no need to play that.
How on earth you get the idea that Half-Life is suffering a demise, I do not know. The game is just as strong, if not stronger, as the day it was released. The developer's of Medal of Honor:AA dearly hope their game has the longevity and long-term support Half-Life did, of that I am certain. Will Medal of Honor have Half-Life's long legs? That all depends on the online community. It seems strong so far; only time will tell. The guys at 2015 need to stay active and supportive in the online community if they want their game to last. But anyway, you're nuts if you think Half-Life is suffering any kind of demise. That the game is still as widely popular and as widely played as it is four years after its release is a marvel. |
Delta Force was great when came out, look now.

Every game has there time...

every game has its time man

pong was a great team game too back in its days... now look at it....
warlords on atari... FOUR players at once... i can't find a server with it anywhere.... sucks. -Bish |
I still pong rules all
|
I still think pong rules all! My Atari 2600 is untouchable...to hell with nvidia and ati!

Medal of Honor is a different breed of game. Other FPS's like Duke Nukem and Quake are a lot more of an arcade style. MoH has more realism incorporated into it (not much, but its still there) and it really appeals to the WWII buffs out there (me included).

Obviously, the original poster hasn't a clue. Or perhaps he/she is a troll, but trolls don't usually insult themselves and then let everyone at 'em. That's just lame.
It's already been stated clearly by Shoegaze99, so I won't repeat much. But to complain that the game has lost something by allowing superior enhancements(read: mods) is akin to bemoaning the patching system(dammit, why can't we have version 1.0 back. I hate this new-and-improved stuff!). Yikes! |
god atari ruled! I remember how excited I was the first day I got it only to have it not work when I got it home. God I was bummed!! http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/frown.gif

First of all, Spray&pray, you are a big fag. i didn't post this to get insulted, i posted to get people's opinions about this issue. if you want to insult people, go talk to your family. i don't want to be insulted by people like you, so why dony you go outside and play hid and go fuck yourself?
|
Hey BoondockSaint, are you aware of how juvenile you make yourself look when you call people a "big fag?" If you're not, allow yourself to be informed: Little boys in the fifth grade call one another "gay" and "fag." Adults don't.
I hope that helps. |
what do adults call homosexuals then?
besides homosexuals... ehe ------------------ http://www.dabros.com/images/poseyj/manon_head.jpg |
