LightSpeedGaming.com is soon going to be offering MoHAA Servers for rent. As such I am looking for a volunteer to help us install and configure multiple MOHAA Dedicated Servers and help us do preliminary server tests (such as resource consumption).
Now I know what you are thinking... why dont I figure it out. Well hell I have played MOHAA and beat it (today as a matter of fact) and because I also manage practically everything in the company I dont have time. If interested please contact me via email: mirage@lightspeedgaming.com or ICQ @ 97418783. Whoever helps us out will be entitled to a free MOHAA Dedicated Private Server either on our OC-12 or OC-48 lines. Previous MOHAA Dedicated Server Setup Experience is REQUIRED. Thanks! |
Damn, someone help the man out! I'm no expert at it, but if I was I'd sure as hell do it for a "free" (he DID say free right!?!?) dedicated server. No matter what he's charging others, your's would be FREE. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif

You may want to adjust your prices down.
Running a 20 slot MOHAA server would cost your customer $160.00 a month..a 784SDSL line costs about $180.00 a month and will easily run a 20 player server,I had one. So for about $20.00 more than what you site charges a player can run their own 20 player server and have a connection that can give them pings low as 15ms http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif BTW MOHAA is a bandwith hog 32 players on Omaha Beach neet a rate of about 12,000 and that connection need to upload about 1.8M. I have a 26 player server that is transeferring about 280GB a month. ------------------ http://users.megapath.net/~mdyer/war.gif Owner and administrator of FragPuppys T1 [CPR] server.
