I put recovery cd in, restart my comp, everything seems to be going well with bunch of infomation then it stops with just "A:\>" shit like that, and won't go any further.

I need help.

Reconfigure your BIOS to boot from CD instead of the HDD.

newt. 04-15-2005 03:07 PM

lol wtf?

BIOS?

HDD?

reconfigure how?

ninty 04-15-2005 03:09 PM

press f8 at startup and change the priority of startup devices to

#1Cd Rom
#2 Hard Drive

newt. 04-15-2005 03:15 PM

i do that but theres no "priority" shit.

I see, Normal, bootlog, safe mode, and step by step confirmation.

I did step by step, it just says bunch of stuff followed by "{Y/N}"

I am still lost. can you explian further how to change priorities

what kind of motherboard is it?

newt. 04-15-2005 03:39 PM

motherboard? oOo:

I use windows ME

ninty 04-15-2005 03:41 PM

yeah that doesn't help. the kind of bios your running is determined by what motherboard you ahve. we have no idea what your bios looks like.

newt. 04-15-2005 04:01 PM
