how many of you guys are experienceing problems with this game?

First - i have slow fps (granted my comp aint hight tech by todays standards, but hey it can run any other quake3-engine easy)

Second - unreadable text and screwed up menus (i fixed this with the WickedGL drivers, but now the smoke in the game looks like absolute crap)

any suggestions/comments? (2015 are, of course, welcome to help... *nudge* *nudge*)
