Trailer Park Boys eye Hollywood

The producers of the cult TV show the Trailer Park Boys have confirmed the rumours those naughty Sunnyvale boys will be on the big screen.

Film crews will start shooting the Trailer Park Boys movie June 20.

"The challenge is to introduce it to a first-time audience, yet please our fans...who know the series very well," said Mike Clattenberg, the creator and director of the series.

"I'm very confident that we can do it."

Clattenberg has a big-name Hollywood producer backing the whole project: Ivan Reitman. The man behind the blockbusters Meatballs and Ghostbusters is the executive producer of the film.

It's probably gonna ruin the show, if the show hasn't been ruined already. TPB's is mainstream.

Agreed, I LOVE the series, my parents used to live in that trailer park before I was born.. kinda weird... cant wait to see the movei tho

Just FYI, there already was a TPB movie. It came out before the series, and explains why Ricky and Julian were in jail at the beginning of the very first episode.

The first movie was damn funny. I think even if it dosent o great in the box office it will still make out ok as the show is allready run off such a small budget.

...and as far as the TPB being mainstream, I don't think that's affecting the show at all. This season is still fucking funny.
